Und nun zur Werbung! [Stay Tuned!]

Commercials are still one of the most central fiancing sources for entertaining and informative media content. Traditional advertising in television, radio and online still show high turnouts. However, new technologies change the market and the current power structure of the actors is changing as well. The Hamburg Media Symposium addressed three questions on the topic "Advertisement": How does the market change and what roles do media agencies and adblocker play? What effects have these circumstances on the financing of media content and on media regulation?

The programme of the 7th Hamburg Media Symposium on June 13, 2016 is available for download: pdf.

A Video-Recording of the Event on Lecture2go, the video platform of Universität Hamburg, is available as well.
