Book A Scientist

Book A Scientist

Speed dating with science - at "Book a Scientist" on 18 March, Leibniz researchers will once again answer questions on topics that touch our everyday lives. HBI researcher PD. Dr. Matthias C. Kettemann will be taking part as an expert. His topic will be "Who says what you can say online? Trump's ban has once again made us all aware of the power that platforms exercise on the internet. They control who can say what online. Is that justified? In Germany and Europe, a number of legislative projects have recently been presented that are supposed to ensure more transparency in rule making and enforcement and more responsibility. However, is this the solution to fight hate speech and disinformation?"

Matthias Kettemann will be available for 25-minute talks at 12.00 p.m., 12.30 p.m., 1.00 p.m., 5.00 p.m., 5.30 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. The talks are available in German and English.
