How Google and Facebook influenced the US election was the subject of Bucerius Lab Lunch Session # 3 at Betahaus Hamburg on December 19, 2016. Nick Diakopoulos, Fellow at the Hans Bredow Institute, presented the results of the two top candidates Google is investigating. He discussed the role of large internet platforms and algorithms in the 2016 election campaign together with Matthias Spielkamp, Bucerius Lab Fellow and co-founder of AlgorithmWatch.
