From David Manning White's "Gate Keeper" (1950) to Herrmann Boventer's "Ethics of Journalism" (1984), the volume presents 24 classics in short descriptions and explains their impact on the research tradition as well as their significance for current issues in journalism research. The volume is published by Springer VS.
