Abstract
In the context of media policy and scientific regulatory discourse, however, there is currently a lack of alternative control options where traditional approaches to media governance reach their limits of transferability. Against this background, the present report aims to present current and currently discussed regulatory approaches and to systematically analyze their prerequisites, requirements and control limits. Based on this, approaches will be presented with which - depending on the problem specification and regulatory purpose - an effective and contemporary intermediary regulation seems possible.
