100 Jahre Radio in Deutschland

100 Jahre Radio in Deutschland

Dr Hans-Ulrich Wagner writes about radio personalities and their careers in his contribution to the anthology "100 Years of Radio in Germany", which has been published by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb). The book is available in the online shop of the bpb.

About the Book
In October 1923, the first official German radio programme went on the air. Constantly affected by political, social and technical developments, it has been able to prove its adaptability and relevance time and again. This book sheds light on the various facets of German radio history and at the same time ventures a look into the future of this medium that is as persistent as it is versatile. This publication was produced in cooperation with the German Broadcasting Archives (DRA).
