Since 2013, the Research Centre for Media History in Hamburg works together with colleagues at the universities of Lund (Sweden) and Bournemouth (Great Britain) within the network “Entangled Media Histories” (EMHIS). The network supports media history projects and helps to initiate research projects that follow the “Entanglement” perspective. This new concept will be applied to historical media issues in order to highlight neglected aspects of the European influence on the development of media history. By doing so, various aspects of “Entanglement” between single media and between European regions and states will be worked on.
You can find out more about this project in this blog.
Alina Laura Tiews and Hans-Ulrich Wagner presented the network of the EMHIS in episode 12 of the BredowCast in July 2015.
