Since July 2019, Paul Solbach has been a doctoral candidate at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research HBI, and has been working on the DFG project "Pioneer Journalism: The Re-Figuration of Journalism's Organizational Foundations
." His work focuses on the research of start-ups, incubators, accelerators and individual actors in the field of journalistic digital offers.
For his dissertation, Paul Solbach deals with the economic implications of message recommendation systems.
On behalf of well-known publishing clients, he is also managing director of a start-up in the field of audience relationship: Furthermore, he advises young founders, among others, on the Media Lift incubator.
