Webinar: How Can Doctoral Researchers Deal with Psychological Challenges during the Corona Pandemic?

Irene Broer, doctoral researcher at the HBI, has organised a virtual workshop on Mental Health and Corona together with her colleagues from the Leibniz-PhD Networks.

The current crisis poses particular mental challenges for young academics. In the almost two-hour webinar, three international experts from the fields of psychology and resilience provided doctoral researchers with concrete strategies for dealing with psychological stress during the corona crisis, such as loneliness, existential fears or demotivation.

The webinar took place on 9 April 2020 and was met with great interest. 190 doctoral researchers from various disciplines at the Leibniz Institutes took part in it. The video recording of the complete webinar is now available to everyone free of charge. The webinar is entirely in English.
