Maris Männiste is a PhD student in Media Studies at the Institute of Social Sciences at the
University of Tartu. From March to May 2019, she will be a junior fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans- Bredow-Institut in the postdoctoral programme
"Algorithmed Public Spheres“. Her research interests include people's perceptions of privacy, data processing practices, attitudes and everyday practices regarding personal information systems (e.g. self-tracking, self-monitoring, but also monitoring of children).
Dr. Cristiano Ferri is founder and director of the "Hacker Laboratory" in the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies (Câmara dos Deputados do Brasil). He developed and managed the e-Democracy programme in the Chamber. He is a guest researcher at the postdoctoral college
"Algorithmed Public Spheres“ at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans- Bredow-Institut in April 2019. His interests include legislation, open parliament, participation, parliamentary informatics, transparency, open innovation in the public sector and legal quality.
