Dr. Karen Pearlman Visits the Research Centre Media History

From 6 to 17 June 2019, Dr. Karen Pearlman from Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia) will be a guest at the Institute for Media and Communication (IMK) at Universität Hamburg. Dr. Pearlman is an accomplished film scholar and an impressive filmmaker/documentary filmmaker. Together with Dr. Hans-Ulrich Wagner, she will work on the project "Transnational Media Histories" within the framework of the Trilateral Partnership MQ-FUD-HAM (the cooperation project between the Centre for Media History at Macquarie University in Sydney, Fudan University in Shanghai and the Research Centre Media History at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut).
 
In addition, Dr. Karen Pearlman will be represented with two papers at the SCSMI conference (12 to 15 June in Hamburg, headed by Prof. Dr. Kathrin Fahlenbrach).
