KI im Journalismus

Prof. Dr. Wiebke Loosen participates as an expert at the conference ""Shaping AI – Demokratisch. Nachhaltig. Innovativ" [Shaping AI - Democratic. Sustainable. Innovative]. The all-day conference, organized by the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Bundestag, will discuss the political and social challenges and opportunities associated with AI systems.
The conference will focus on the following key questions:
  • How is artificial intelligence changing our democratic society?
  • What are the consequences of the EU AI Act? What measures are necessary at national EU level to harness the great potential of AI and minimize risks at the same time?
  • How can AI develop its positive potential for democratic decision-making, security & freedom, climate protection, sustainable innovation & economic prosperity, education & participation, among other things?
The program on the main stage will be livestreamed.
Wiebke Loosen will speak in the afternoon with
  • Erhard Grundl MdB, Spokesperson for Culture and Media, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group,
  • Tabea Rößner MdB
  • Hannah Möllers, legal advisor, German Association of Journalists and
  • Lina Timm, Managing Director, Media Lab Bayern
on the topic of "KI im Journalismus: Revolution oder Evolution der Informationslandschaft" [AI in journalism: revolution or evolution of the information landscape].
