Playing, communicating, connecting – children and adolescents use the opportunities of digital media with great enthusiasm. The potentials, risks and challenges of digital media for children and also the challenges for parents will be illustrated by and discussed against the background of findings of the international comparative projects EU Kids Online and Net Children Go Mobile.
