Lecture trip by
PD Dr. Wiebke Loosen to Tirana/Albania at the invitation of the German Embassy as part of the Federal Government's lecture programme, organised by the Institute for Foreign Relations.
The Institute for Foreign Relations is committed to promote a civil society dialogue, the dissemination of foreign cultural-political information as well as art exchange in exhibitions. Its task as an intermediary organisation for foreign cultural policy also include the implementation of the Federal Government’s lecture programme. This programme serves specifically the mediation of multipliers and experts from the fields of science, culture, business and politics. The ifa supports the German representations all over the world in the realisation of their lecture projects. The topics address current issues, particularly in the context of bilateral relations.
2018 areas of focus are: Democracy/Constitutionality – Human Rights – Europe – Flight, Migration and Integration
In several lectures, Wiebke Loosen will speak about current developments in journalism, including at the University of Tirana and representatives of the Albanian media landscape (media regulators, public-service broadcasting), representatives of private media, opinion makers, parliamentarians, media politicians and government spokespersons.
