Am 27. und 28. September findet die Tagung "RIPE@2021 - Public Service Media’s Contribution to Society" statt, die von der Universität Fribourg (Schweiz) veranstaltet wird. Das HBI ist mit Vorträgen von
Prof. Dr. Uwe Hasebrink und
Prof. Dr. Barbara Thomaß vertreten.
Am 28. September um 11:10 Uhr hält Prof. Dr. Uwe Hasebrink einen Vortrag zum Thema "Media Use and Social Integration: An Explorative Study on Public Service Media’s Contribution to Societal Cohesion".
Am gleichen Tag um 10.10 Uhr spricht Prof. Dr. Barbara Thomaß zum Thema "What (Digital) Media Deliver to Democracy: The Media for Democracy Monitor 2020 (MDM) and the Public Service Media".
Über die Tagung
The conference will bring together scholars and public service media professionals from all over the world to critically discuss the concept of “contribution to society”. Working groups will focus on communication needs of changing societies, new forms of contribution and distinctiveness, involving citizens and building communities, as well as governance, communication and legitimacy management.
