Das
Bayerische Forschungsinstitut für Digitale Transformation (bidt), das
Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) und das
Weizenbaum-Institut (WI) laden in Kooperation mit dem HBI Doktorand*innen sowie Postdoktorand*innen ein, ihre Arbeiten auf dem gemeinsamen Forschungs- und Netzwerktreffen Digitalisierung - DigiMeet - zu präsentieren. Das Sonderthema für 2023 lautet “Diversity in Digital Transformation.”
Der Hauptzweck dieser interdisziplinären Veranstaltung besteht darin, ein Forum für Nachwuchsforscher*innen mit Schwerpunkt auf digitalisierungsbezogene Themen zu bieten. DigiMeet bietet die Möglichkeit, sich zu vernetzen, Ergebnisse und Ideen zu diskutieren und Anregungen für neue und idealerweise gemeinsame Forschungsprojekte zu sammeln.

Über die Veranstaltung
Each year, the networking event addresses a topic that can be understood as a key concept in the ethical and human-centred design of digital transformation. While sustainability and data literacy were the focus topics in 2021 and 2022, questions of diversity will be highlighted in 2023. DigiMeet will give insight into the work of people who are actively working on diversity problems and possible solutions in the digital sphere, and show why it is important to take these issues into account for future research. Inspiring keynotes, presentations and workshops will deal with recent developments in this important area of digitalisation research.
