Dr. Swaantje Leopoldt

Dr. Swaantje Leopoldt (born 1971) studied Law at the University of Hamburg. Since november 1998 she was a research associate at the Hans-Bredow-Institute. Since november 2000 she is a junior lawyer at the Provincial High Court, until november 2001 she was a member of the scientific colloquium at the institute. Her interests are mainly focused on the legal regulation of Digital TV, questions of law with regard to New Media, competition law, protection of privacy, an telecommunication law. Her field of activity was focused on the project "Systematic approach to media- and telecommunication law". The title of her phd-thesis is "Navigatoren - Zugangsregulierung bei elektronischen Programmführern im digitalen Fernsehen".
