Dipl.-Bibl. Jutta Simon

Dipl.-Bibl. Jutta Simon (born 1948) has been managing the area of litarature/information of the Hans-Bredow-Institut since 1970. Developing the classification scheme as well as organising and systemising the inventory are part of her field of duty as much as the conception and set-up of computer applications for the library. Furthermore, she is an editor of the scientific journal „Medien & Kommunikationswissenschaft“ (until 1999: Rundfunk und Fernsehen), in charge of the category „Literatur - Rezensionen, Zeitschriftenlese, Literaturverzeichnis“. She is the contact person for book critics and publishing houses. For the "International Media Handbook" she regularily compiles an assorted bibliography on the subject of "Media, Mass-Communication".
